It’s funny how many of you wait until the last minute to hire the entertainment and set your budget for that entertainment at $200.00 or less. What we do is a craft and we should be compensated accordingly. The better ENTERTAINERS in the market (myself included), wouldn’t even move our equipment for less than $500.00. You want us to entertain your guests but you want to pay a rookie DJ price. I mean, seriously, how professional are these guys anyway? Most can’t spell or use spell check. They use terminology like “wut up, u, ur, 4, 2, etc…” instead of spelling out the actual word. And, a lot of them are throwing gang-related hand gestures in their promo pics.
GOOD DJs AREN’T CHEAP…and…CHEAP DJs AREN’T GOOD…
While we’re here…Can someone TRUELY be the Bay Area’s Favorite DJ or even the #1 DJ In The Bay Area if that so-called DJ is from the other side of the state?
Keep that in mind while you’re thinking about letting a thug wannabee perform for you for a discounted price.
